Rinehart Slip on
« on: June 23, 2009, 06:13:17 PM »

Hello Board newbie here. Been reading for awhile and love it.
Question:
I just installed the Rinehart slip ons on my stock 09 SEUC. I was hoping to be able to leave it like this till I get back from Sturgis in AUG. I will most likely get a PC V and upgrade to some type of AC upon my return. Will these slip on work or do I need to install the PC V now? got the Rinehart's (6 month old) for $300. Love the sound. Any thoughts?
Thanks

They will work fine until you get back.

I have the exact same setup and ran it for a thousand before I installed the Stage I ac, non cat headers and the PC V with autotune.

Bike runs great and sounds even better.

Thanks. What stage I AC did you get?  I have 930 mile now. Any worries about warranty coverage?

I bought the full setup from
www.fuelmoto.com  PC V and Stage I ac.

I have never had any issues with warranty and had one of the proverbial problem 07 Se Ultra's.  Rebuilt engine three times until they got it right.

I also, had my dealer do all the work even though I purchased the stuff direct (saved over three hundred dollars).  Fuel Moto was great.  I also bought and had the dealer install the very nonrestrictive 09 non-cat header pipes.

Diamondback,
Thanks for the info. I talked to the guys at fuelmoto and they are great. I may get the PC V before I go to Sturgis and change out the head pipe when I get back. They said it would run better (richer) than it is now and cooler. Does this sound right to you or anyone else?

Yes with the autotune they will set the AFR to around 13.5 with or without the header pipe which will cool the bike down.
