No more half sac
« on: July 01, 2009, 12:17:55 AM »

After a day with a half sac, I got the other sac installed (Thanks Fullsac). I'm lovin' this bike more and more each time I ride it. Now that it has the Fullsac cores, no cat, MasterTune, I can almost, almost, say, "I'm done."

At least, I'm done for a while. Just turned 970 miles, time for the 1000 mile service. Just in time too. Some friends and I are heading up the coast of Cali to ride 299, over to Lassen, Feather River Canyon to Truckee, then back to Sonoma over the 4th w/e. I'm sure I'll love the bike even more when I get home. I'm not sure I can take much more of this. I'm 'bout to 'xplode with this new SERG.

This new SERG is a real kick, ain't it Blazo?

AND... they're destined to be collector bikes just like the '00 and '01 SERG because Harley ain't making a SERG for 2010!!!

Enjoy yours. I know mine is a joy every day. 5000 miles in 4-1/2  months. I'm loving it!

Male instict tells us to "never ride with a halfsac". Glad I was able to help you "sac up" and feel more complete. Lol...

Thanks!

I have noticed my 2" Fullsac's sound better as time goes by. with near 13k on my bike the sound gets richer. wanted to go with the 2.25 for more base but these sound good.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for everything. It was good to talk to you on the phone. I'm liking the sound, wasn't quite sure at first but the cores are growing on me. After so many years of eardrum damaging pipes, these sing a song for sore ears. I'm very pleased with the performance.

I may be in Vegas in October. My wife has to go to a conference there. I may take a ride down to your shop to say Hey while she's in meetings.

RickC;
  Where do you get your info?  Harley has only said that the Road Glide would be no more.  Nothing was mentioned about the Screamin Eagle Road Glide!   Was it 2007 when Harley said no more Springer and then came out with the Screamin Eagle Springer.  As we all know....we have to wait till the last week of July and then know for sure!    ;D
