RIGHT DECISION?
« on: August 04, 2009, 10:02:29 AM »

WELL IM CURIOUS AS TO YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE NEW 2010 CVO LINE UP ... I THOUGHT I MAY HAVE MADE A MISTAKE WHEN I BOUGHT MY ROAD GLIDE A WEEK BEFORE THE NEW 2010s WERE INTRODUCED BUT NOW THAT IVE SEEN THEM ALL.. I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE THAT I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION.. IVE OWNED OVER 100 BIKES IN MY LIFETIME BUT NEVER A FLTR ... IN THAT THERE WILL BE NO FLTRSE IN THE FORE SEEABLE FUTURE IT MAKES ME FEEL EVEN BETTER ABOUT MY PURCHASE ...IVE TALKED TO A COUPLE OF DEALERS SINCE THE 10"s CAME OUT AND THEY SAID THE 09 CVO FLTRSE's THAT THEY HAD BEFORE THE SHOW HAVE FLOWN OUT OF THE SHOWROOM SINCE THE SHOW ...MAYBE I MADE A GOOD INVESTMENT (AS FAR AS BIKES GO) I GUESS ONLY TIME WILL TELL

If you have owned 100 bikes, then this won't be your last.

Enjoy the ride while you have it.

How does one tell someone who has owned 110 bikes anything about bikes?   :nixweiss:   :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:  I don't see too many '09 SERG's up for sale to buy any of the 2010's.  I'm not selling mine.   :huepfenjump3:   :bananarock:   ;D

2010 SE Ultra is nice, but it ain't no 09 SERG.  Mine's a keeper, even after all the bikes I saw in Sturgis.  A tad irritating that MoCo still has FLTR, but glad there's no FLTRSE at least.

Saw a few S/B, Y/G and O/B while there and it was always a heary salute as we passed each other.  Nice family to be a part of, this SERG group!

Saw a bright red 2010 Road Glide  (non CVO) at dealer this afternoon.   Fantastic looking bike.

Well I was in the car business a few years back and have been riding since 1963 so I have owned a bunch of scooters ..from Cushman's , Lambretta, a hole lot of mentrics including Honda's including the 90s ..160 Dream ...305 Super Hawk ..CB450 ..CB750...CB900 ..7 or 8 Goldwings ..Yamaha V-Max ...Kawasaki 350 3cyl. ....my first new Harley was bought from Bubba Boswell in Nashville back in 1983 and was a FXRS and since then mostly Harleys ...this is just to name a few ...Ive never been without a bike for over 6 months since 1963 ...this is my second CVO the first was a 2003 FLHRSE .. I have to say this FLTRSE so far is very sweet.

Ive owned a few bikes myself and smile every time I put away the SERG after a ride. I cant say enough good about th HQ pro tuner. This 09 is the best running Harley I've ever owned. You purchased the flag ship for sure, enjoy a real keeper... :drink:

one more; go to http://www.head-quarters.com/injection.html   It will look like you will need the HD race tuner from the unclear description. If you call HQ... you will find out it is not needed. The 2 2/4 Fulsacs, no cat, stock air cleaner and the HQ pro tuner will work perfect. No Dyno time and it self tunes as you ride. spot on from idle to full throttle.  :drink:
