SS PTD's vs Jackpot 2-1-2 vs Fullsack 2-1-2
« on: October 16, 2012, 09:29:19 AM »

Guy's

I have narrowed my headpipe choices for my 2013 RGC CVO to the following three. Pricing is close enough to not be a factor

1.   SS Power Tune Duals

2.   Jackpot 2-1-2

3.   Fullsack 2-1-2

I have got Ed with the "Dyno Difference" set up to supply a "Direct Link" tuner and do the Dyno tune for me.

Maximizing the torque curve throughout the RPM band is more important to me than a few extra HP at the top end.

I understand the advantages of a 2 into 1, but that is not the route I want to go.

The quality of craftsmanship, fit and finish and customer service is good on all three pipes.

Is there an advantage of one pipe over the others?

IMO

I would stick with the FullSac "C" pipe great power, fit & finish is excellent..... & down the road if you do engine mods,, that pipe will handle the changes

if you had to next would be Fuel Moto

Steve"s (FullSac) head pipe is ceramic coated as well... a plus IMO

My choice was FuelMoto's X pipe and pro-touring exhaust. I have used Sampson's' and like them a lot too. I am currently installing Reinhardt on a '11 Ultra Limited, the install is great. I have not used Fullsac, but plenty of comments on here have made me believe those are great too. The FuelMoto used factory heat shields and it looks factory, keeping a stock look on the CVO was my intentions.

So does FullSac,,, even use their CVO muffler cores for a 100% factory look  :2vrolijk_21:
One important mention too is FullSac uses TTS fuel management which Steve provides a fuel map thats spot on

Truth be told I had never heard of Fullsac at the time of my decision, but I went to the Carbon Fiber end cap trim, which matches the dash insert and gauges. A very clean look to the mufflers, it is a smooth transistion like a horn, rather than a canister.
