Have never seen a printed schematic for the little trailers Brian.  They are all independent runs though.  Right and left turns are home runs from the front connector.  Park light and brake lights split at a point behind the connector and are indepentent runs from there.  What's not working on yours?

Turn signal not working when brake light comes on. :nixweiss:

Are they on separate bulbs?  On a Bushtec (with the six wire plug) they would be.  If you have the brake light and turn signal overlayed on the same wire to the same filament of the same bulb when the brake comes on it's on all the time.  It's not that the turn signal is no longer blinking.  There's just something else on the same circuit that is hot all the time.

Bike isn't like the car.  The turn signal switch in the steering column of the cage separates all four corners of the vehicle and separates brake and turn signal for the rear.  So the home-run from the turn signal switch to the rear corners have already have t/s and brake light feeds isolated before they leave the steering column.

Bike isn't that way.  Separate feeds for the brake light and turn signal all the way to the back end on a Harley.  Because they go to separate bulbs.  Never intended to be run together.

Do you have separate bulbs for brake light and turn signal?  If so you've just got the brake light feed and turn signal feed crossed somewhere.

If not you either need to mount an extra pair of lights and wire the t/s and brake lights separately or use one of the several types of accessory modules (Badlands) that will make a bike's turn signals also show brake lights.  If you use the module you'll only need a four wire plug to the trailer (rt, lt, rl, grd) as you won't have a separate brake light feed.

Green: Running and taillights
White: Ground
Blue: Brake
Yellow: Right turn
Brown: Left turn
Black: Interior light

Trouble is Brian's trailer isn't a Bushtec.  An N-Line if I remember right.

If the N-Line has separate bulbs (as the Bushtecs do) for brake lights and turn signals he'll need independent runs as described as one possibility above.  If it doesn't he'll either need to mount an extra light on each side of the trailer and bring the independent runs back or use a Badlands (or some other) module that will mix the turn signal and brake light feeds and wire it up over four wires like a cage.

Hey Brian, don't forget; even if you wire it up with just a single bulb for park lights, turn signals and brake lights on each side using a Badlands module you still might choose to use the six wire plug.

You'd need four wires for the automotive style wiring configuration.  A fifth lead through you might use from unswitched source though.  Perhaps for trailer interior lights or to power a phone charger.  Or maybe for an automatic duct tape dispenser :huepfenlol2:

Or maybe a automatic knife sharpener to handle the trailer wiring humor man

I think I finally figured out how to wire our scoots for the multiple trailer configurations we have

Trailers:
camper has bushtec wiring 6 wire
n-line has 4 wire standard wiring
Jade's trailer has yet to be wired
White cargo trailer has yet to be wired

it is easier to wire a trailer for 4 wires.

Purchase from J P Cycles part #300-077  quick harness adapter
Hoppy 5 to 4 wire isolator

make up a harness so that the isolator only needs to be pluged in with the use of the 4 wire trailer
make up a harness so that the bushtec wiring can be used without the isolator

only bugger is that whenever I decide to tow I will have to remove the seat to plug and unplug harnesses
