MasterTune with Mac
« on: September 24, 2009, 12:17:06 PM »

I have the TTS software coming... I know it's a Windows based system but I'm a Mac guy. Wondering if anyone has had any experience with using parallels on your Mac Pro? I'm guessing the only issue might be USB drivers... Anyone?

from what I have been told, you can use BootCamp and it makes the program think it's running on windows

Yea LarryB... Bootcamp and Parallels are the same kind of software. They both let Windows run on a Mac but I've run into a few issues in the past with USB drivers in the config.

I have been researching Mac.

Boot camp and paralles are quite a bit different.

Parallels runs windows as a virtual application in the Mac OS.

Bootcamp on snow lepord OS, when starting the computer gives you the choice to start as Mac snowlepord, or start as a true windows machine.

VM and Parallels are the same kind of soft ware.

I am running MasterTune on a Mac Pro using Bootcamp without any issues. I have no experience with Parallels.
