REPLACING MY 07 CVO FROM BEING TOTALED
« on: October 01, 2009, 03:21:00 PM »

I had the misfortune of totaling my 07 from a pickup running on expressway at night no flashers and dim lights at 15-20 mph.The damage was 26-27000 and when I called local dealers to look for a bike everything coming in before jan was spoken for.I called my dealer and asked if they would check with harley about replacing my bike before jan because insurance co was repaying me the sales tax. They talked to repand send a e-mail to harley and my new bike will be shipped 11/3/09,the rep was at dealer today and I went there to thank him and told him harley should have a way of letting our dealer replace our bikes from loss  so when one our bikes got totaled or stolen we wouldn't have leave our dealer for bike replacement.I thank harley and my dealer for their help.JDO

Would love to see photographic proof that orange beats red. Perhaps you could post some photos of an orange bike in front of a red one?

Both are great.  Red is always good but the new Burnt looks great.

Hate to read of the bike being totalled.  Pleased to read of the effort from the dealership.  Sounds like a significant wreck though.  You ok?

that's cause orange bikes are really red bikes with a bunch of yellow.... and every one knows if you're yellow you run away...
