Variations of the first and third ones have been around for a long time.  The second is a variation of the HD branded unit and others itself with the addition of the fan.

Have to admit some reservations after the first impressoin though.  That shroud is (to my eyes) butt ugly.  And not even chrome?  Also hard to imagine that fan surviving much inclement weather.  Having the fan always on when the engine is running is going to be a problem for warm ups and cool weather riding if hooked up as they instruct to.  Would be much better served taking it to the accessory switch in the fairing cap or nacelle so you can control it.

Ok, that qualifies as funky.  Or some other F word.  At least it's (almost) red.

It was a long restoration from when he wrecked his Big Wheel when he was a kid.  :D   Doc

The Big Sky Fan - Is that two fans ??. It looks like the fan(s) conceals nicely behind the HD Deluxe Oil Cooler  :nixweiss:. The pictures on their Web Site does not provide enough detail (actual install pictures) to get an impression. One picture suggest the fans are hidden nicely behind the HD chrome cover oil cooler. Other pictures show a 'butt ugly' mounting apparatus. I like the idea but iffy on the actual appearance of end result installation. It is certainly priced fair, almost worth giving it a try. I've seen the Ultra Oil Cooler installed on a 2008 Ultra painted to match fairing etc. and it's really not that bad in appearance, I just dont like the $400 tag  :-\

The Big Sky Fan***WARNING*** Here is what looks kike this blood sucker is selling for $60 bucks http://www.mpja.com/prodinfo.asp?number=16724+FN . The brackets are zip ties.. that's it..These fans do tuck nicely behind the Deluxe Oil Cooler and it appears they will do the job. If you want to try it out,, go spend $3.00 bucks and give em a try.  :2vrolijk_21:
