Race Tuning
« on: October 06, 2009, 10:19:18 PM »

I'm installing new true dual Bassanni Covington Pipes on my Screamin Eagle Ultra (09) as soon as they get here.   I'm wondering if anyone can tell who is the best at tuning properly a Harley Race Tuner?   If someone knows of some a shop or individual who is very knowledeable I would appreciate the info!  Thanks!

Sorry, didn't put the location, but in the Kansas City Mo Area - or anywhere close enough to ride to an from in a day.  Just trying to find someone that really does know what they are doing on these with the knowledge and experience to back it up.   Tired of my pipes turning yellow, etc...

Don't remember his name.  But the tuner at Gayle's down on the south side is good with the Race Tuner.  If you're interested in using Power Commander and coming a bit farther south one of the best Power Commander tuners in the country is in Joplin.

I think you are referring to Robin at Gails... yes, he is good too.  I would do the pwr com... but already have invested in the Race Tuner so that's not really an option I was considering, just putting on new ture duals and didn't want to see the yellowing as I have on the current Hooker pipes so wanted to seek what I could find as the 'best" tuner out in this area.   Thank you for your thoughts though...
