Hey Twolane

I'm gonna try a set of 575 bars on my new bike. Its the custom dresser. Will i need to put a longer brake hose on the bike to reach the abs box ? I got the two tone Cherry Red and Murlo red on order .

I'm the wrong guy to ask on this one David.  Have done the 575s on three our four dressers now but never yet on an ABS bike.  Relatively sure I remember Jim talking about that brake line though.  Hopefully he'll see this and chime in.

The CVO bikes have typically had a few extra inches to play with in the ABS brake and Hydro clutch lines. With the 09 cable clutch bikes I have done the HD pull back bars without cable changes but the chubbies are a bit higher so not sure if the cable will make it. Previous years they would not.

I put them on my '08 Ultra with ABS, no problem with brake lines at all.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sounds like I can wait on ordering a longer line. I`ll let you know what I run into in a couple of weeks.
