2010 CVO Paint Codes

Hope it's OK to post this on this thread.   Didn't see a "paint" area.


Looking for the 2010 Burnt Amber  paint codes.  Decided to keep my trailer (cheaper to paint than replace).  Did an internet search and found just about everything else, but not the new paint codes.  Anyone know where to direct me?  Dealer didn't have them, or so they said.

Screamin Eagle paint codes are not ever avaialble.  Touch up paint is available.  There are a few painters out there that go through the effort to match these colors.

Ain't that just special!  I see American Legend has some older CVO paints on their new web page.  I think Bushtec does also, wonder what the chances are of getting it from them, or for how much?

Local shop can take a picture of the color & scan it into a computer that figures the mix.Not sure but I think it's a PPG system.

Bushtec was able to use a side cover off my '07 SERK to match the paint. It took several months, but the results were well worth it. I also had a king tourpak color matched at Paint By Gene (paintbygene.com) in Washington state.

I talked to an HD veep at a HOG function back in '07 and their answer about not revealing paint codes was to discourage the building of knock-off CVO bikes.

I also have a 2010 uccvo and a american legend trailer (black) I think that I saw paint kits available on american legends website.

I saw the "new" site and the older model CVO paints.  I emailed them about the new paints and have not heard back as of yet.  Usually they get right back to ya!   Are you looking to paint your trailer also, or are you just gonna be a gypsy, I've done that before too, bike one color and the trailer a different color!  lol
