Looks very interisting. I'll try to have my daughter-inlaw take a look at this as she is employed by our local power supply company. One of these days something is bound to work as advertised. I know what I could do with my savings.

Thanks

Anybody looked into this http://www.power4home.com/index.php?hop=roeib :nixweiss:

Man, they get you all hyped up about building a system for under $200, but that's what HE charges for the instructions to build a very expensive system.

My boss is building a house in Hawaii and has solar panels on the roof of his water tank / shop building.  He also recycles the rain water from all his roofs and than runs it back through a filtration system for other than drinking water use.

He has well over $20k in his solar panels and installation.  Granted he bought and had it installed, but these things are not cheap.

I know two ladies that have houses up in the mountains that power their houses with solar and a generator backup, they rarely use their generators, their totally off the grid, not connections to any power company. The one is also looking into putting up a windmill. There's a small company here in the foothills that makes parts, or complete windmill units.
