Long Ride Windshields
« on: January 12, 2010, 05:54:53 PM »

I just purchased a 6 inch "flip up" windshield from Long Ride Windshields.  This is a quaility windshield for the $54.00 price tag.  They also have engraved "Screamin Ealge" windshields for around $125.00.  They can be found on the internet or purchased on ebay.

They're continuing their Christmas sale (about 40% off) through January 15 or so--it's not specified on their website (that I could see).

Ordered an 8" medium gray yesterday and received an email within hours that it'd shipped.

This is my 4th windshield and is a LRS. The best I've seen so  far, but my buddy has a Clearview and looks the same. Says he get the same result.

Good choice w/ a great price.

I purchased the 8" smoked in August.  It is supposed to cut the wind, but I have noticed absolutely no change.  I wrote them to let them know and they never even answered my emails (2).  As far as I'm concerned, a waste of money...and they don't do a thing for the looks of the bike either...just my opinion...

Clearview Windshield has been a good windshield for me and much cheaper than this Long Ride Windshield.

Got my 10.5" Dark Gray Clearview re curve for under $90.00 delivered.  Looks great, too cold to try out.  Bought as a second but there is absolutely not a mark or scratch on it that I can see.

I have a clear view and I think it's the best I've had.
