Maybe I'm just a little slow (OK, so I'm a whole lot slow), but wouldn't a good ol' unobtrusive electrical vest work just as well or better in the cold?  And I'm thinking if you want a cooler for your leather jacket for those really miserably hot days, a few of those thin freezer packs placed in little pockets inside the jacket would do just as well.

One thing they didn't mention, when that vacuum cleaner sucks all the air from the back of the bike and stuffs it into your jacket, isn't that going to create aerodynamic drag and thus slow you down?  Wouldn't it be smarter to suck the air from in front of the bike? ;)

Great idea Jerry.  You could use a peltier thermoelectric cooler.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoelectric_cooling

I have no idea if it would work in a vest.  We need someone with the experience of Hoist to chime in.     Oh yeah, he's exiled himself.

Looks like a miniature R2-D2 is sucking around for loose change.  :2vrolijk_21:

The sucking comment got me to thinking, this thing might be OK if you can reverse it.  Then instead of having to suck in our guts when a pretty girl walks by, we can just reverse the system and let the vacuum suck it in for us.   :nixweiss:
