I run the Mik 42 on mine,  LIKE IT JUST FINE !!!!!!!!!!!!  Love the response from it !!!

I bought a new FXRS in 85 and sold it in 07. I already regret it. In the years I had it I did more mods than you can imagine. To name a few 3 different cams, 2 sets of heads. 6 different carbs, 5 ignitions and no sh*t 15 sets of pipes. This is what I finnaly ended up with that was fast and reliable. It had a power band like a dirt bike and was quick as a cat on fire!

Jim's Hydra solid lifters
S&S Super E with thunderjet and Yost power tube and a Turbulator in the intake.

Thunder header exhaust
Barnett clutch with SE spring

Andrews 34 tooth transmission pulley

after 15 years of riding my FXRS, I am now dropping a S&S 124 in it.

You may ask "why are you doing that" - the answer - because I can and I want to!!

Yep, skipped the little upgrades and did what he did!!!
