I just installed a new rider backrest on my 2001 SERG. The install went well but after I installed it I noticed a mark on the right side arm rest. It looks like a material defect. It is not real noticable but it just bugs me.

A lot of them come that way.  I did the same thing on my '05 E-Glide.  When I opened the box, the leather has some "imperfections" in it.  I took it back and they told me that it was "normal" and that was that.  I think Harley calls it "character".  Imagiine that!

I figured it wasn't work sending it back now that is on. I will put some Armor all on it. Thanks

Get a bottle of Doc Bailey's Leather Black.  Works great!

I agree, Doc Bailey's is great, you will never see another imperfection once you put it on, great for leather tour packs, saddlebags, anything leather.
