just discovered it - although it's not chrome, definitely a must have. Brilliant idea and such a cute design. You should have a look at it  :D

Or if you feel the need to have an oil funnel, you can stop at any gas quick stop place and just grab about six of their paper funnels and fold them all flat and slide them some place in your bike for quick use.

Would you normally carry oil with you?  I usually don't ride that far from any start point that I would need to oil up.

I don't disagree that it's a good idea, but buying HD paper oil funnels seems a bit much.

When they can't master throttle control systems nor engine management it's got to be reassuring for them to fall back on a technology within their grasp.

Generally free....   :2vrolijk_21:

I typically carry one of these...a quart of oil...a siphon hose on a trip of any distance...  I have never needed the siphon hose, but have had riding partners who have!

(Amazing how quickly some folks loose their sense of humor when out of gas along the side of the road when I have a siphon hose and they don't!  hehehe...)

Saw this hanging next to those paper funnel dealies at the dealer today.  Hadn't seen one before.  Will beat molding a piece of aluminum foil like I'd been doing.

This does not work well in the 06 down bikes as the hole in the primary is larger and it won't stay in like the one in the pic. Works well in the newer primary's though.

Here's the best one I have found so far....

I never spill a drop on the tank and it fills it to about 1/2 inch from the top.

i have caried those paper funels on the bike for years. have been available from whitehorse gear for around 10 years, they come in a 3-pack for 2 bucks. came in handy in maggie a while back when my buddy got bad gas, had to drain tank, filter the gas and put back in tank as we were far from anything. pretty cheap insurance for 2 bucks.
