Harley Email Questioneer
« on: January 26, 2010, 07:47:21 PM »

OK, yesterday, I get an email from the MoCo, asking me to participate
in a 10 minute survey. I agree, and the main topic was, "what would
it take FOR you to buy a NEW bike"! They had all kinds of question like
low interest, extended warranty, service plans, trade values, etc.
It asked which was more important, by rating them. Then it asked
for what it would really take!! Boy that opened the door!
I said, maybe a 7 year warranty, with no deductable, or lower
bike prices, or how about "2011" technology" Maybe "watercooled"!

Do you really think they care, or are they really realising it's time?

I have not received ANYTHING from them, to include the recall notice, which I contacted my dealer, found out my bike was under the recall and scheduled it with them.  I would love to get a survey from them, and no, it would not all negative either, I just like doing surveys.

I got the survey also.

In the comment section I asked why they wasted time with the survey when everything they could possibly want to know about their CVO line was being discussed on www.CVOHarley.com

Just another waste of their stockholders money.

If I remember correctly I got one a couple weeks back. I took the time and answered the survey until the end, they wanted my contact info... then I just deleted it. I don't like giving out info like that from an email I've received..

Too many scammers out there.

It sounds like one of the Harley Advisory Board surveys.  I don't think I remember hearing about them sending these out to anyone unless you are on the Advisory Board.  It almost makes me wonder if it could be a scammer looking to gather information from those that have their e-mail address listed in their profiles.  But, I have mine listed and I didn't receive the e-mail...so who knows?

ha, I just got a post card from them last night saying to go to a site where the address was www.my.name.harleydavidson.com..........and there all it does is redirect you to thier main site.  It seems like they are really trying to ramp up marketing on this new bike, especially to the CVO owners, becuase they know we are already brand dedicated.  I am not the one they need to convince unfortunately,....I would start with the crotch rocket crowd first.

I didn't get that survey but I do answer the Advisory Board Survey each month and those questions were not on the Advisory one.

I didn't get one, but if I do I think I'll just email them the Victory website.  At least they're trying to make a product that America wants.  They might not get it right, but they're trying more then becoming honary members of the Amish Army.

I didn't get the survey,,  but last week I received a nice thank you letter for being a CVO owner, along with a very large color booklet on the 2010 CVO line.
