I put the HIDs back on and they work. I haven't had it out in the dark yet but will on Wednesday. But I can tell its a 100 % brighter on high beam

Didn't quite understand your post, TJ - did you buy the harness I mentioned?  :nixweiss:

Ah - so high and low beams should have been on together after all, but were not?

Yes the lights should have been on. The tech said that I screwed up the wiring. He bypassed the garage door pigtail that is there that has garage door clearly marked on it. Had him on the line with the MOCO Tech rep. I told the factory rep how I wired the circuit-by slicing the white-white black-black, so on. There was as very heated conversation with the dealer tech calling me a moron and leaving (because he had a shop to run and didn't have time for this) leaving me and the MOCO rep on the phone.
More to come tommorrow. Gotta go to work.

One dealer to avoid in future!

I was thinking of going to the whiter lights but non-HID, do any of you folks know what type/spec the high beam bulb is and the low beam? h3, h4 ??? They are individually unique, so I assume the specs on them are different ...any guidance is appreacited (crash course on bulb types with an emphasis on these dual bulb headlights which I didn't have on my softail):confused5:
