I had 3 illegals work for me two years ago, they got caught and were deported.  Two months later they applied for a job again, this time all 3 had different names.  To make matters worse the idiots came back 6 months later with yet new names.

So I guess it is true, you can't fix stupid.

At lease they are persistant, one of the biggest problems with our country is that people have grown this defeatist attitude towards everything.  Ultimately it goes back to laziness, but those folks mentioned don't seem lazy to me.  It seem like they WANT to work, albeit illegally, but honestly they are contributing more to this country than a large quantity of Americans.  Sad but true.

As to the immigration comments; I am 50yo this year. There will be more 50yo baby boomers (BBs) in the USA this year than any other age group.  Lots of BBs gonna need care in the next 15 through 45 plus years.  There is going to be a major shortage of health care workers and not enough Americans (especially us white bread round eyes) to come close to filling those positions. This doesn't even count for the other jobs like utilities, restaurants, construction, schools, Hawng-Davidson motorcycle mechanics (some Chinese company will have bought us by then).

More immigration than this country has ever had in it's history.

The latest I learned was we will have three major immigrant choices Mexican, Chinese, and Indian (Asian).

I think Californians are starting to realize this fact more than not since it's been happening here for decades.

When I see a group of men standing around all day in the cold rain asking for work, any work, hard dirty grimey work that we don't want to do, instead of a free hand-out, I have to think twice now about the comments that put them down.

Some of these comments make me replace the main character with American born crystal meth addicted non-working thiefing wanna-be gamers who are too good and don't know how to get their hands dirty working for Americans.

Humans being human is what I see.

Scenario1;
Don: Luisa will you help me bring in the groceries?
Luisa: I will get them all for you Mr. Don, that is what you pay me for. Please come in and relax. By the way your 30yo Road Glide's charger is working fine, and I didn't use Armor All on the seat this time like you asked.

Scenario2;
Don: Jane will you help me bring in the groceries?
Jane: 1 I'm on break watching Opera's granddaughter in real vision, 2 You didn't say please, and 3 I was hired to serve your meals not carry them in. I don't do bed-pans, depends, windows, floors, chrome wheels, windshields, oil changes, blah, blah, blah (Did you get my cigarettes?)

I know my example is far-fetched since they wont have cigarettes in 20 years, but you get the point.
