HK Advance CD player error
« on: January 27, 2011, 10:34:11 PM »

I have a 2004 screamin' eagle electra glide but installed a 2008 HK advance cd player.  Was building my bike so I never tried the the CD player.  Now about 4 months later I have finished the bike  and when I put a cd in it ejects it and says error 1...Sometimes stays in and says error 37 before ejecting.  It will not play a cd.  I can install a cd and lightly tap the face and sometimes it will start to play...Any ideas?

You might want to check with the dealer and see if it needs to be reprogrammed.

Reprogramming will not fix the defect. Error 37 is a no-start code. Basically, the drive is not getting a start signal. This could either be a defective drive, or a defective CD circuit in the radio.

Better call the guys at Iron Cross. They have a great reputation on here too.   Fast turn around time too.
