Desperately Seeking: Risers 2007 FXSTSSE
« on: March 25, 2010, 05:20:52 PM »

Hi!  I need to get some risers that give me 2" up and 2" back.  Wanting to keep my handlebars stock.

Thanks a bunch!

This should be pretty easy.  Try looking here:  2007 Harley Davidson Dyna Glide FXDX Handlebar Risers

Obviously you don't own a springer!

JennyA, Not exactly what your looking for but "wild1chubbys" have a riser that fits springers.

JennyA
Your question was the same I asked recently. What an ORDEAL! I ended up changing out my bars altogether to get the result I needed.
If you will look throughout this forum there are several discussions concerning risers for springers and the lack of choices. I just posted
several pictures along ith the part numbers of my project under "Just changed bars". Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the links and the input everyone.  I really appreciate it a LOT!  I am not going to discount going to a custom shop and seeing if they can give me what I am looking for.  Man, I bet I'll pay out the Ying Yang for that.  Maybe I should get fifty made and sell them to recoup my cost....   Ya think?

Thanks again,

Jenny

if you are using the stock 1 1/4" CVO handlebars then there are no risers that will fit....
the only solution is to replace the handlebars with a set of mini apes. :bananarock:

I put a set of '06 wide glide bars on mine. :2vrolijk_21:

Jenny A, check out Naitram's post, that is going to be your most obvious route, because of the dash, you are probably going to have to go higher than 2'' and not hit it, depending on your bars, I used Dog Bone's and RSD 12' bars I had to go w/6" rise and not hit. I eventually dropped the tank back 3"  Alloy art makes riser studs that will adapt to a standard thread pitch so you can run any Non HD springer riser, or arlen ness makes an entire top clamp assembly that is 3.5" on center and standard mounting bottom bolt thru, for any riser that again is not for HD springer, but you would also have to go to a standard 3.5 on center bar, and ditch your stock 4.75's! but then your options would be unlimited!
Have fun
