Symfrog's new Limited......

Bill (Symfrog) has been on a mission every since he signed up on this board, to get a touring model bike.  He looked at the SE Street Glide's and the SE Ultra Classics but just couldn't make the numbers work using his 05 SE Fat Boy as trade, on the colors of each of those models that he liked.  If he found a dealership that had his color then they weren't interested in taking his bike as a trade.  If he found a dealership willing to take his bike as a trade, they didn't have his color.  I can relate......the dealership I bought from wasn't willing to take my SEEG as a trade and that's why they knocked $1,500 off of MSRP for me.

Bill finally worked a deal in Fairfield on a Limited in the blue and black.......they had to trade a bike with House of Thunder to get the blue and black.  After work we both jumped on our bikes and I rode down to Fairfield with him.

Do you guys remember when you got your first bagger?  For some of us that was a lot of years ago.  He asked me "how do you set the cruise control".  Sometimes we do things a million times without even thinking about it.......I couldn't remember if you push the right thumb lever to set it or pull it to set it. ???    I can hear Ernie now......."you're just gettin old". :nixweiss:

It was my pleasure to be able to share this experience with Bill and to be able to photograph it for him.  We stopped in Dixon on the way home (did I say it was late?) to grab a bite to eat.

I'm sure Cathy will enjoy the ride on the back of this much more than she did on the back seat of that SE Fat Boy. :2vrolijk_21:
