WB Sensors & Mastertune
« on: March 30, 2010, 02:47:42 AM »

Anyone know why the WB sensors are not used with the TTS?
Is it a limitation with the Mastertune, or the stock Delphi hardware used by the MoCo?
Does it really matter with a decent base map and VB functionality?

The TTS uses the Delphi Adaptive Fuel Values in the ECM to dial the base map in. The ECM is calibrated to see Bias voltage report from the Narrow Band Switching Devices (stock 02 sensors)....the wide band sensors do not report in a Bias Voltage so the ECM can not use the information from them.
The Narrow Band Switching 02 sensor is fine, they do a great job and they are much faster to report to the ECM and several other reasons that I won't get into here and start a war....lol
