Thanks for sharing. Death Valley is one of my favorite places. Next time you go, a couple of great places to check out are Artist's Palette and Scotty's Castle

I took 150 pictures but I doubt everyone wants to see all.

I had to end this part of the excursion at Badwater as the storm was moving in fast.

I left Death Valley Hwy 190 to Hwy 127 which turns into Nevada Hwy 373 north to Nevada Hwy 95 to Tonopah, NV. (Decided to head to Truckee, CA instead of driving back through the rain.) Arrived in Tonopah at 9:30 pm. Tonopah is around 5500 ft above sea level and was in the mid to upper 30 degree range. Of course I left my jacket liner and long sleeve shirts at home. I was cold so spent the night.

Made it to I-80 at Fallon, Nv in about 4 hours the next day. I'll post those photos later.
