I know this is an old thread, but I just had to show off my new baby :cucumber:  My wife and I were just window shopping a couple off weeks ago and we both fell in love with this bike. I traded both my 2008 SE Dyna and my 2007 Electra-glide for this bad boy. It was less than a year old with 1650 miles on it. The previous owner had V&H Big radius installed with a SERT , pulled 108ftlbs on the dino.
Had heated grips and the highway bars put on also. This baby is smoother and quicker than any bike I have owned ( incuding the SE Dyna )

HD also eliminated that tranny whine while downshifting!!!  This bike is truly a well built monster and is a blast to ride :apple: :jalapeno: :-*

Nice purchase!  and what exactly was that tranny whine attributed to??  Mine always did it around 37-38 mph, you could close your eyes and tell what speed you were going.  Driving with eyes open is just sooooo overrated!     Pork

The whine was on both my 07 glide and my 08 se dyna. From 3-2 and from 2-1 maybe 30mph or so down when coming to a stop........

They have eliminated that on the FLSTSE........... Don't know why it was or what caused it but I don't have to hear that crap anymore!!!!!
