Google Earth question
« on: April 22, 2010, 08:39:54 PM »

I've got a stupid question.  I've downloaded google earth several times on my new windows 7 laptop, but I can't find it.  On previous computers it installed an icon on the desktop,  but not now.  I've searched for it and can't find it.  Can't plan a trip!!   Help!!

Near the bottom of this page: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/earth/thread?tid=65b7d42c663ebab3&hl=en it states that if you don't install it under C:\Program Files the icon doesn't show on the desktop. My guess is that you will either find it there, or you installed it somewhere else.
