I just put the George Anderson tourpack relocator on tonight. Wow, was that easy! Having a 2nd person to hold the tourpack up, I'm betting that it didn't take me 10 minutes for the complete install. I can't believe that I put this off all this time because I thought it looked like something difficult to do. 4 bolts out, and 8 bolts in and done. I only moved mine back 1.5" and the gap isn't real bad. Now that I have had a chance to see the results in person, it's easy to see that a piece of velcro at the bottom edge of the tourpack drape and a piece of velcro on the back edge of the seat will finish the job off neatly. I thought of it immediately when I looked at the finished product, and then I was looking through some old posts here trying to find a place to post this, and I ran across a post aimed at the gap behind the seat. I was amazed to see that I had suggested exactly the same idea a while back without seeing that it would actually work...but I don't remember posting it. Anyway, this was probably the easiest addition I've made to my bike. It's also nice to know that I can quickly move it back another 1" quickly by moving 4 bolts. Now I'm just hoping that I don't end up with a woman on the back that needs that extra 1"...I mean 1" of extra seating space. Get your minds out of the gutter.
