2010 CVOSG license plate light
« on: February 01, 2010, 02:38:39 PM »

Took delivery of my 2010 CVOSG over the weekend. I like a little more light in the rear of my bikes and usually make changes to avoid a rear end situation. Any suggestions on a brighter replacement bulb for the license plate light bulb or anything that will help my concerns?
Thanks much.

You can put the saddle bag spoilers on your bike.  Those lights are LED and can be wired for run/turn/stop lights.  That also adds some width to your night lighting.  Several of the guys have them.  I had them on my SEEG and have put them on Terrie's bike......you can see hers by clicking on this link.....   http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=32927.135

Any way to put a real tail light on the back?  I would like one of those "Bad Ass" lights. As I also think I need more light in the rear of the bike.  The guy from "Boogey Lights" told me perhaps order the Europe tail light converstion kit from Harley and then add the tail light.  Does anyone know or has done this?

Thanks

You might just find a Canadian (or European) SESG owner willing to trade you rear fenders.  There are a number of them trying to get rid of that big ol' tail/brake light. :nixweiss:

Before

No I don't think you want to do that, I have a tear in my eye looking at it  ;D

After

I added the bags rails with LED's to give a bit more light and to protect the bags
