2010 CVO Ultra slip ons
« on: May 04, 2010, 01:24:54 PM »

Im new here, just getting ready to take delivery of my new 2010 CVO Ultra. Moving up from the 2003 Ultra Anniversary edition that I modified the heck out of.
here is my question. since I am now starting to run low on cash, I just want to improve the sound of the new bike. Was looking at the V&H Hi Perf Slip ons.

Anyone have experience with these? Is it worth the money. I dont have enough cash to go all the way thriouhg the exhust.

Comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

CFR Slip-ons add soul to the 110.

Have a set of CFRs on my 2010 SESG and they siund great, louder than I would like but great none-the-less.  I have the Fullsac X-pipe header as well.  I have been having a problem getting a Map from Steve that works well. Also I think I have dropped some torque due to the size of the CFR baffels, they go from around 2 inches to nearly 3 inches at the outlet.

Hey CVO Willie
Did you just do the slip ons or did you do the fuel pack too? Any concern about the original HD warranty?

I have Monster ovals on my RG...luv 'em.

You can just do slip-ons and nothing else and you will have no problems.

Agreed put them on and enjoy. Consider Fullsac baffles. For the money they sound great and use save by using the stock cans.
