Rinehart vs. Catalyst
« on: May 13, 2010, 10:12:11 AM »

My SEUC3 has Catalyst mufflers which have a reasonable sound.
I'm able to buy a set of used but almost new Rinehart true duals.
I'm wondering if there is much difference between both setups.
Of course a remapping will be needed, but would there be a noticeable difference.
I mostly drive about 80-85 miles/hr. max so speed performance is not an issue.

If your current mufflers have a "reasonable" sound, the rinehart true duals will be obnoxiously loud.

Just removing the cats will give you a few more decibles and less heat, should be perfect for your style of riding.
