JeffsHogPen, Regarding the SE Ignition Module depending on the advance curve (it is probably adjustable) I think you will feel a lot stronger coming off the line. However I don't think you will feel a difference regarding the coil. I have had experience with both , but on older HDs. Keep your old coil in your tool kit if you can.The only reason I say this is that my SE coil went out after a couple of years and I got stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. If I would have kept my original coil with me I could have switched it out and been on my way. Just a thought. Good luck with you project. CAHDBIKER

I just purchased a Screaming Eagle Coil and Ignition Module. Will I be able to tell the difference in the performance when I install these Parts????????? I have been told that it will make a big difference. What actual difference will this accomplish???

I believe it advances the timing 5 deg. and has a 6200 rev limiter. Thanks for the input on keeping the the coil. I was planning on keeping everything anyway. I do plan to have it dyno some time in the future.

+1 on the Mik 42 .. I used it on my 95 with SE Heads/V&H propipe HS / TW 31 and got  good results,  I do believe the 45 will give you a bit more on top at the sacrifice of a bit on the bottom.

I would be very happy with that. The roadking my cruiser.....I just wanted a little more after getting my Screaming Eagle Springer. I have SE Pistons, Head work with larger valves, a Andrews 26 cam, along with the Mikuni 45 with Big Breather. Now the SE Coil and Ignition should finish off this project. Now to enjoy my Road Trip in May........I can't wait. Thanks nidan you made me feel better about my upgrades.

Today I installed the SE Coil and ignition Module. After I started and took out for a Test Ride. It seems to stumble when I get on it. It poped back just a little but did not run as good as the original Coil and Ignition Module. Why would it be doing this?????? Doe anybody have any ideas.

After adjusting just a little all is Well!!! In fact I have put about 600 miles on My Bike. She really has some serious power. Low end is nice. Mid is great and no fall off on the Top end. The Wife and I rode two up last Sat. with a cross wind from hell. The Bike ran very well. My Wife even made a comment on how the Bike seemed to be a bit more Getty. The fuel millage has fallen off just a little. But I knew that would happen. All in all I feel pleased with the up grades.  :apple: :jalapeno: :cucumber: :pineapple: :pepper: :2vrolijk_21:
