Oh god.  This could be a thread worse than types of oil, types of bikes, politics, religion and boxers vs briefs all rolled in to one.  But, hey, you started it.

Chicago style pizza sucks.  If I wanted a soggy swimming pool shell filled with overly sweet and equally soggy toppings I'd just get naked, wrap myself in a soft taco shell and dive straight in to the mixing vat where the ingredients are made.  New York style is the stuff.  Even Dominos, which only qualifies as "doesn't suck" is better than Chicago style pizza.  In fact if this thread were about Chicago style pizza instead of an inspiring road report of a trip to Dominos this thread would be titled:

"It's all about Chicago Style Pizza and the Massive Gag Reflex Caused by It"

But, of course, I'd never start a thread like that because it's not my nature to start anything.

Thread has just taken a dire turn into an area away from a mere ride to get a pizza pie.

Until it turns for the better, I will pretend to ignore it, but will not actually ignore it, since the humor potential here is now better than before. Not saying it was a lot to begin with, but potentially......?

The deep dish pizza casserole's ( cause that is they are)  taste good, but knife and fork are not needed to eat real pizza..Needed to eat a casserole, yes. 

That is all.  There is no thin versus thick...Thick pizza is Sicilian and you still dont need friggin utensils to eat it either..

Have to agree, Chicago style sucks.  I imagine it is what the after-birth of a cow must be like as far as mouth-feel.  Best pizza I've had in the last ten years was at a place called Pizza From Mars in Meadville, PA.  Best ever was Pizza Haven here in my hometown, but they closed thirty-some years ago.  You?
