Curious about sound, power amplifier set ups?
« on: May 18, 2011, 02:55:51 PM »

Hi,

Has anyone added an amplifier to their current system and kept the stock amplifier?  I am looking for responses from someone with a SE Ultra with the HD amp mounted under the tour pak.  I am wondering what you can do to increase the sound performance without eliminating the stock amp, and I am not interested in losing my lower fairing storage to speakers.  I bought a set of 4 Hawg Wired speakers and I currently use those with the stock amp.  I was wondering if adding more power or if you were able to run the HD amp for the rears, and add a separate amp for the front to get cleaner power and sound?

Are you still experiencing a low volume problem following your installation of the ipod interface module?
