My Arse and Alligator

Rode my buddies 03 w/ a Corbin Solo covered completely in alligator.  I have the same seat but it was completely redone with foam and gel etc...

Is alligator not as stretchable or plyable as leather?  After 1 hour or more my butt was really aching!  I am wondering if all these exotic skins just dont stretch to accommodate my butt??

Thoughts?

A lot depends on how the skin was cured, the thickness etc.

But all skins will eventually soften up.
