Hadn't checked this thread in a while, but Monday I tried to order a helmet and cord as their website listed a part number for an 06, but they called me yesterday and said that size helmet I wanted was out of stock and the cord would be Mid December.  Oh well, My Dec 5 date for bike delivery will probably be late also. Story of my life.   >:(

I purchased a J&M system installed in the nolan flip up helmet and have not been too happy with the audio quality.  The sound is very thin sounding.  What is the groups experiance with J&M audio?

I am somewhat at loss to understand what the J&M has over the HD model.  Is there some functionality difference or is it all quality of sound, comfort, ease of use, or responsiveness?  They are a super quality outfit but is the real difference measurably different?

In my case, J&M makes a headset in a half helmet. Not 100% sure, but I don't think HD does. Plus, I tend to buy aftermarket as much as possible.

Well the HD mic sucks (personal experience), at best, the J&M is suppose to be much better...never had one myself, going from what others have said.  Plus, they make a half lid with it in there already, saves me tryna install the thing.  I have the HD mic on my half lid now, but like I said, it sucks, at best.

For music it's better to have fairing and headset going at the same time.

What is the config to have music in the headset and fairing at the same time?
