won't the Jerry plan violate the extended warranty?? 
Myko, that's what they want you to think, but I don't believe you will find that "requirement" in the paperwork that came with your Extended Service Plan (it's a service contract, not a warranty). And the actual warranty cannot, by Federal law, tie you to having maintenance performed by a particular place nor can it require you to use a specific product unless the manufacturer provides the service and parts free of charge. And if you want to get really picky, you don't even have to maintain super duper records to prove anything. It's the responsibility of the manufacturer to prove a failure was the result of lack of maintenance or the use of a particular product. However, I still do keep records and receipts, even long after any warranty is long gone. It's just a good practice.
