I think you may want the 49 state legal slip ons (PN 80495-07), not the 50 state legal pipes which come stock on the bike.

The difference is that the 49 state pipes have just a little louder, deeper, more Harley-like sound than the stock pipes but they are not obnoxiously loud.  The other difference is that you cannot visit Arnold Schwarzenegger, as California is the 50th state.  The 50 state legal pipes sound like a sewing machine.

I'm no technical expert (or a Wizard) on these matters but I definitely  like the sound of the 49 state legal pipes and with a tune by a real Wizard, the bike goes like gang busters.

Golfar is correct...  and I believe the 80679-08 50 state has the cat where the 80495-07 doesn't.

Yes, that is what Golfar is running on his ConV... 80495-07. They will start off soft but will get a little louder as they age a bit.

Hey Lever... wondered where you've been. Hope you are well.

Sounds good what you are doing. Everyone has a preference as to their own personal touches to a bike. Amsoil is great and it's good to hear the bike is pulling strong.  :2vrolijk_21:

As far as the oil cooler... may be a bit much but it depends on how and in what climate you ride. Again, a personal choice. Let us know if we can spend any money for you... we all seem to be real good at that.
