Battery Tender with ACC switch on?

OK now that the new Zumo is rigged up and there's 3000 mp3s' loaded I've got this bad habit of usin the Electraglide as my garage boom box.  Man those J & M's rock!  Problem therein is I been runnin the battery for hours and have to put the tender on to charge it back up.  Haven't done it yet, but was thinkin what if I plugged in the battery tender while the ACC switch is on so it could power the music and not run down the battery.  Is this crazy talk?

My 103 cubic inch boom box with the tender plugged in is how the bike gets detailed.
