Change Time w/Advanced Audio Software Update
« on: April 02, 2010, 08:44:51 PM »

I downloaded the latest version of Advanced Audio software (ST10v8.22.0) and need some help. All I want to do is change the clock. When you press softkey 6 to change the time...the display has changed and it no longer matches the owners manual. The display I get is below:

  Time
DST OFF
CENTRAL

No matter what key I press, I can't select or change anything. The background behind 'CENTRAL' is black and there are up/down arrows on each side. I've checked Harley's website and could not find any info on function changes. I'm hoping someone can help me out.

With the Central having a black background press the up (or down) associated button until you see EASTERN.  The other is DST, (Daylight Savings Time), I believe, not DIST.   At least that's what my radio displays.  Make sure you have that currently selected as OFF, (next spring, just set it to ON).  Once your radio receives its time "hack" from the GPS satellites, and there are no clock adjustments other than time zone and DST.

Thanks! I did a search and found the clock is slaved to the GPS. I didn't know that. The bike was in the garage when I tried to change. :-[ Oh well, live and learn.
