Pic 13: In addition to the battlefiled tour we rode into town and did one of the Ghost Walks.  I don't believe in ghosts even a little bit.  But it's still fun, kinda like a haunted house is fun.  This is the start of one we did.  The Farnsworth house, where possibly the shot was fired that killed Jennie Wade, the only civilian killed in the battle.  The scars on the house are from the federal fire trying to kill the confederate snipers in the small window at the top.

Pic 14: The aforementioned Jennie Wade.  Or at least a bronze statue of her at her sisters house where she was actually shot and killed while making bread inside.

Pic 15: Lincoln slept here.  OK that I can understand.  But this is a plaque stating that he walked by this tree on his way to give the Gettyburg Address.  Umm. Who gives a s... never mind.

Last pic: The various ghost walk places show pics of paranormal activity that were captured by actual people taking the ghost walks.  SO I decided to screw up the setting on the ole' Canon Rebel XTi to open the shutter a little to long, and with the help of a the fact that I have a shakey hand... Viola!  Instant ghosts.

Please... Take the Ghost Walk for fun.  Don't believe everything you see.  ;D :D :o :P

Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Ride Safe,
JC
