Hey, gotta take the orange reflectors off, chrome forks no problem, but what abou the Denim paint at the back fender/frame near rear shock.?

Really worried about how to get them off without marking (or removing!) paint.... Anybody done this? Dealer flatly refused due to Denim so this has got me concerned.

Normally/previous bikes, I have used builders line / fishing line to cut throught the rubber backing, then use PreSol or Degreaser to penetrate the sticky stuff and a rag and plenty of elbow grease.

Tips / experinces much appreciated guys. Cheers.

You may want to try talking to a local autobody shop near you.  They may be able to give you some suggestions.  I'd be extremely careful if it were my bike...

Anyone interested...

They came off no problem without marking.

I used a bit of braided line to cut off reflector
Peeled as much sticker off as I could
Then rubbed with glue remover/degreaser and a cloth.
Total job time 5 mins, no visible marks or change to the denim Granite paint.

FYI - the tape on the denim/rear refelctors is not at all the same as hardcore tape used on the fork let / normal harley reflectors.
Cheers.
