i read here that there is a update for the boom audio. is there a way to know if i have the update or do i have to take it to the dealer? only has 1200 miles on it.
Hi:
You can do it yourself, easy enough.
First, check your current version. I copied this from the instructions on HD.com:
a. Select the following display menu items: “Home/Set-up/System Information/Software Version”.
b. Record the software version.
c. Compare your audio system’s software version with the latest version available on this page.
The current version on the HD website is 1.17.4, so if you have that you have the latest version. If yours is older, you can go here ->

Not too hard, but as I recall you do it on accessory (which on the CVO you use the trip switch to get to). The ignition on won't work. At the time, I didn't have a book, so I was stumped.
Good Luck and post if you have further questions.
