Intercom worked great on the trip out west but quit working properly on the way home.

I can talk to passenger and hear music.  Passenger (daughter) can hear music and me but I can't hear her.  When she speaks, Vox is broken as the radio lowers as it should but no voice comes thru my headset (just music).

Once home, tried a different headset with each current head set and still no passenger to rider audio.   The rider is a JM and the passenger is stock HD boom for 2010.

The Vox settings are correct, the intercom is on, and the speaker switch is in the correct position.  Any help appreciated before going to dealer as I wouldn't have much faith in this repair on them.

If the problem was thought to be the radio, I would send to Iron Cross as they already did the auxillary out the back.
Wiring problem?    :nixweiss:

Thanks in advance.

I don't even like the cords, but I just like something to work when it is supposed to.

Make sure your volume for the INTER is up.    Each type of function has its own (one for passenger, and one for rider) volume controls - NAV, INTERCOM, RADIO, CB..... that is four different volume controls times two people....

Dont ask me how I know this.......

Tonight it works-go figure.   Can't see where I did anything different.  Don't even care for it is the sad part.  Still waiting for a GREAT wireless headset but the G4 still isn't perfect.

I concur, it is the volume for the passenger in the set-up.  You can ask me why I know,  never mind, dont ask,   I had the same problem.

All is good
