Heat Shield Chrome
« on: October 01, 2010, 09:23:47 AM »

OK Guys,  Seen this pic on ebay.  FLHTCUSE4 had them on it that was for sale.  Sure like the looks of this added chrome to the heat sheild.  Anyone ever seen these for sale anywhere.  Not sure if it is a chrome piece that you add to the existing shield or if it is a complete different shield with the chrome already attached.  Anyway I like.  Any ideas where these might be available.

I would say the accent simply attaches to the Harley heat shield.  Looks like something Kuryakyn would make.

Correct: Kuryakyn makes them. Part #8674

AirMaster™ Accents For H-D Mid-Frame Air Deflectors

H-D's Mid-Frame Air (Heat) Deflectors are functional, but they have a matte, industrial finish.  These spicy little stick-on accents will liven them up instantly.

Guess I'll have to get a new bike if I want these accent pieces:

Fits: ’09-’10 FLHTCU, FLHTCUSE & FLHTCUTG; ’10 FLHTK & FLHXXX; and any ’09-’10 Touring Models equipped with H-D Mid-Frame Air Deflectors (H-D P/N 58002-09)

Bummer  :(

Aren't the new as installed on new CVO touring bike mid air deflectors, the same as HD has had for sale in the P&A catalog?

Would the new chrome stick on pieces fit the mid air deflectors from the P&A catalog?
