MJB765, Regarding the noise you are experiencing on your rear tire. The sound on my rear tire changes when I lean into a curve. It has done this since my bike was new (09SEUC). I was under the impression based on sales literature that the center portion of the tire was a harder compound than the edges to help promote longer tire life, so I took it for granted that is what the noise was.(I don't have any noise when going in a straight line ) I only have about 7500 miles on my bike, I keep the air pressure at 36 front and 40 rear and right now have no cupping on the front or the rear. I get about 20K out of a front tire on my 95 Heritage and about 10K on the rear. I don't know what to expect out of the tires on my 09, but they still look pretty good at 7500 miles. (the front is a 407). Just a little input. CAHDBIKER
Was the problem with the Dunlop 407's only front tires or will the dealer replace the rear as well. My front is a 408, but my rear is a 407 and I have a noise when leaning hard left from the rear of the bike. I checked belt tension and wear and it looks ok, so I'm thinking tire. If it is rear also, does anyone have a copy of the TSB because the dealer said he had not heard of any tire problems at all!!!
