just bought new 2011 flhtk want to put screamin eagle heavy breather on should i wait until after the 1,000 mile service or just go ahead and install it :confused5:

I did my dyno and AC with pipes on my 2010 FLHTK at 500.  No problems.

I dont quite agree with go ahead and do it.  The air cleaner that comes on your bike stock is a closed box.  Adding all that air will cause your bike to go lean.  Leaner than I would want to go, and more lean than the factory delivered it.   If you have a tuning device or map, then you may be in a better situation to do it, but without it I wouldnt do it.

I would definitely agree with unbalanced. Get a tuning device to protect your investment.
