IPOD Working Right?
« on: March 22, 2012, 05:11:08 PM »

IPOD Factory Installed.  Whenever I shutdown the bike and restart the Ipod (with shuffle selected on head unit) starts at song 1 on my playlist.  It doesn't remember where it left off.  Yours do this?

I think there is a setting on the IPOD that you can determine that it starts where you left off when you shut it down?  I may be confused though, that feature may be on my cars setting?  Take a look anyway!

I know it's a pain to remember but I've gotten better results by switching the radio to am/fm before turning the bike off.

Mine does the same thing.  Maybe someone has found a good way around this.

It doesn't make sense because it only starts from song 1 on the playlist when connected to the bike.  If you remove it, plug in headphones, shut it off and then on it will restart where it stops.

I don't own an iPod, but I've been an iPhoner sense 05. If you go to setting gear on the iPod and customize your play options your way I feel it will solve your problem. It solved mind, I once had the same problem.

I've been using the HD iPod interface since it first came out.  It's been doing this since day 1. Aggravating to say the least.
