It's a clearing on the top of a mountain that predominantly faces east. You can see to the horizon as the mountainside drops away to the valley and just visually goes off to the horizon. Back in the day, we used to make sure we were there by sun up and catch a really glorious sunrise. It's a cool ride up the mountain road with some twisties, and a great overview. There's a paved parking lot and "facilities" to relieve yourself, if it's unlocked. It's a nice little stopover to stretch and pee. There are some trails that you can walk over to a large rock outcropping with a bench to jsut sit down a take it all in. Let's you know that Jersey isn't just smokestacks and warehouses. One of my favorite places and I've been going up there since the early 70's. The paved road going down the mountain, if you make a right, takes you the back way into into Stokes Forest, Steppingstone Falls, and 5 or 6 other great riding roads that go through the woods for miles. Turkey, bear, deer, pheasants, fox... sorry, a bit of a flashback there. Just a real nice ride. There is one small green sign on 206N that points the way in, and if you reach the entrance to the Stokes Forest camping and Ranger station you went just a little too far.
