Trying to be proactive I decided to put a personal security code in the bike?
I followed the manual procedure and it never enters programming mode?
Anyone have this issue?

2010 CVO SESG

If you enter disarm mode that works but it will not enter program mode to change the code?

FOB present and security is disabled

Well it appears I jumped the gun, The issue was not cycling the ignition on an off fast enough.

I was waiting for the fuel pump to cycle (6 sec) between cycles and you need to do it rapidly.

Got the new code in and it (and I) is all happy now.
